Year 3 Quarter 1 Science Plans

Megan has already laid out her science for the first quarter of next year! Here are her plan that she will implement with her 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders–and of course the little ones that listen in 🙂

Science during this quarter is Introductory Biology and Ecology. A unit study on Pagoo by H.C. Hollings with its associated lapbook/notebooking pages fits perfectly here.

Additionally Megan plans to:

• Go to library and check out a variety of books
• Read Creation story from Bible (evolution v. creationism),
• Kids we will be memorizing a science fact each week
•  Do a presentation (at CSH) on one thing they learn in this unit study;
