Tour Guide Scope and Sequence
Catholic Schoolhouse's Mission is to Empower families to share Catholic Culture
Experience the Catholic Schoolhouse Programs and build a true one-room schoolhouse for your family.
Catholic Schoolhouse’s classical academic program is organized into units and presented in a three-year cycle. Children are guided through sequential topics including religion, history, geography, math, classical languages, music and language arts. A cohesive program, other materials like Art and Science are all based on the Tour Guide which contains the historical timeline.
Catholic Schoolhouse Tours are cycles, not levels, so any child can start with any Tour, any time.
This three-year rotation allows homeschooling students to encounter all of the information twice during the elementary years, once during primary (ages 3-5) and again during the intermediate years (ages 6-12) to go deeper and fortify learning.

The same Tour is used by all chapters nation-wide keeping us in syc for resource sharing, field trips, and more. Please see our CSH Community Options page for more information
Catholic Schoolhouse
Catholic Schoolhouse was founded in 2007 to enhance education in the grammar stage by providing classical memory work for the Catholic homeschool. Going beyond simple memory work, the developers enlisted experts in all areas of study and a wide variety of resources, Catholic and secular, homeschool and non-homeschool to determine what information is typically encountered during the elementary school years (K-8).
Individual families, chapters and co-ops are able to succeed, bring family unity to teaching, and belong to a greater Catholic community with Catholic Schoolhouse.
